Our Marco Island Butterfly Garden
Located on the south side of Winterberry Drive across from the baseball fields, you will find the Calusa Park Butterfly Garden. Created in 2009 with a $10,000 grant from the Calusa Garden Club on City property, club member Susan LaGrotta spearheaded the efforts to create this unique butterfly environment.
The club continues to fund and co-maintain this official city park site with the City of Marco Island.
Camp Wekiva Campership Grant
The Calusa Garden Club offers a campership for a week at Camp Wekiva. The environmental camp, sponsored by the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, is designed for a fourth or fifth grade student participant from our Junior Gardeners’ program.
