  • When is the 2018 Christmas Home Tour?

– Friday, November 30, 2018 is the Calusa Garden Club of Marco Island – Marco Island Nature Preserve & Bird Sanctuary Christmas Home Tour. 

  •  Where are the featured homes?
    – The four homes are located in different neighborhoods on Marco Island. 
  • How do I get to the homes?
    – You will travel in air-conditioned coach buses from the United Church of Marco Island, 320 North Barfield Drive, Marco Island, FL 34145.  You will return to the church at 5:00 p.m. 
  • Where do I park?
    – There is ample parking in the United Church of Marco Island parking lot for all guests attending the Christmas Home Tour. 
  • How do I check in?
    – Check-in is at the United Church of Marco Island parking lot, where you and your group will be assigned one of four air-conditioned coach buses for the tour. Plan to arrive by 12:30 for a 12:45 departure. Each bus will be identified by color and you will remain with your bus and your Home Tour guides for the entire Christmas Home Tour. If you are coming with friends, plan to meet in the United Church of Marco parking lot and check in together so that you will all be on the same coach bus.

  • I understand Christmas décor centerpieces will be raffled. Where can I buy raffle tickets?
    – Raffle tickets will be sold at each home on the Christmas Home Tour, one for $5, three for $10 and an arm-length for $20 (sorry no charges).  You can deposit your raffle tickets in containers at each home for one or more lavish Christmas centerpieces.  Raffle tickets will also be available at check-in registration at United Church of Marco parking lot. Profits from the raffle support the two non-profit organizations.  For the Calusa Garden Club, proceeds benefit scholarships and community projects.   For the Marco Island Nature Preserve & Bird Sanctuary, proceeds benefit the Eagle Cam operations, Conservation Educational Outreach programs and events for students. 
  • What is the bus schedule?
    – Buses leave the United Church of Marco Island at 12:45 p.m. Please arrive between 12:15 and 12:30 for check-in.  Buses leave promptly. 
  • How long does the tour take?
    – The tour takes approximately four hours. 
  • Are there many stairs to climb?
    – Only the ground floor of each home will be available for the tour, but there will be entry/exit stairs and occasionally slightly uneven ground around two homes.  Wear comfortable flat-heeled shoes. No stilettos or high heels pleas, for your personal safety. In the event of rain, bring an umbrella. 
  • What else will be available on the tour?

-Refreshments will be offered at each home, including savory and sweet bites as well as beverages. In addition, poinsettias will be for sale, and guests may purchase them (sorry no credit cards) and leave them on their air-conditioned coach buses during the tour. 

  • May I take photographs?
    – No photography is permitted with cameras, smart or iPhones. 
  • Will restroom facilities be available?

–One restroom at each home will be open for Christmas Home Tour guests. 

  • What are the ticket prices?
    – The ticket price is $75.00 
  • How do I purchase tickets?
    – All Christmas Home Tour tickets are purchased online at by credit card. After you purchase your ticket(s), confirmation information will be emailed to you.  Please print and bring your confirmation. 
  • What can I do with my ticket if I cannot attend?
    – You may donate your ticket back to the Marco Island Christmas Home Tour for resale to a wait list guest up to 72 hours before the day of the Tour. Contact Linda Turner, 239-207-9116 if you need to donate your ticket. We will send you a letter to acknowledge that the price of the ticket is tax deductible.
